How to Add Shortcut Application on WindowsRight-Click Menu

You're a slacker productive with many programs on your computer? On the other hand You are reluctant to add extra shortcuts for all applications on Your Desktop? Maybe add a shortcut via the right click will provide a solution to give a little space on your desktop. It doesn't have to be an in-ekspert programming to do this, just a few simple steps and a neat desktop display you will get it easily.

The complete way to do it we write on the article this time, good for you Windows users 7 or Windows the latest series. Of course only with slightly changing the registry of Your Windows operating system. Here are the steps to do this, start the access on the Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) that is installed by default on Windows operating system. The author of this time using the key combination Windows + R, then type "regedit". You can use other means to access it.
Directory access

1.HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell

Until this step, a window will appear on your desktop, start to add new folder in that directory. The main purpose of the addition of these folders is to create a new menu. Do I right click on the shell folder, select New > key. (As shown in the picture)

Information

Name: Represents the name of the shell yours

Type: Contains the type of the existing types of value, whether in the form of a string (letters) or integer (Number) untu more details you can see on the pages of Windows developers

Data: An application or command path (Syntax command line) when runGive a name to your liking, Later this name will correspond to the name of the menu that appears when you right-click on the desktop. Let's say the author gives the name Steam, Steam applications. The next step is to add the action to run the application. Right-click on the folder you just created, select New> Key. Give the name of the folder "command", in lowercase. This adjusts the drafting of the windows operating system. Fill in the "value data" directory where the application is installed, such as the author's own steam applications exist in the directory "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ Steam.exe"

Similar to the previous description for the value data, which is to call the action or directory placement. If you are using the system to be called, you can put the command prompt syntax to be placed on the column data value.

Note:

To more easily find the path (Link application directory) in your possession, use Shift + Right-click. Select "Copy as path", it is more practical to use on a Windows operating system.

Up here, you'll see a different view on the right-click on your desktop wallpaper. This difference does not require you to restart before against the computer. If you want to add more applications you only have to repeat this step as needed.

Make changes to the Windows registry is one of the dangerous things without knowledge, because it will automatically affect the continuity of the operating system itself. But sometimes a person will never manage to get what he wants without having to try and take a risk to it. Good luck!
